I got two new monitors (KOORUI 27 Inch Computer Monitor, QHD 2560P Gaming Monitor 144Hz) the first one came in and I plugged it up and everything looks fine. The second one came and plugged it in and it works but the screen has what appears to be a darker SLIGHTLY greenish hue to it.
Try connecting a different monitor to the PC to further narrow down what the problem is with the monitor itself. Another thing you can do is completely disconnect the monitor from the PC and turn it on and see if it is still giving you weird colors/lines on the splash screen.
October 12th, 2018 06:00. Blinking solid colors usually indicate an issue with the graphic ( video) card. If you haven't done so yet, power off system, remove power cord from wall socket or power strip surge protector, and wait about 5 minutes. Replace power cord into wall socket, power on system, hopefully computer display works normally.
