1. Jan 7, 2014. #1. Hi! I have a 2008 500 with dualogic transmission, which has sadly failed. First the transmission fuse and relay burnt out, and the pump motor windings were damaged. The motor has been repaired, but the transmission fuse is still blowing and the transmission fluid is leaking. Looks like the actuator itself is faulty, or the Oct 21, 2012. #7. It's a reverse gear, 99% of cars will do this if it's engaged to quickly, mainly because of the gear cog setup. Loads of info on it here for other models. Either need to double declutch, engage another gear before hand (not sure if reverse has a synchro) or put up with it, it's nothing to major. J. I recently bought an used Grande Punto 1.3 multijet with dualogic transmition. The problem is that when it is auto downshifting from 3rd to 2nd sometimes the engine stalls and and I had to restart the engine. No other problems with up shift or downshift. I cannot hear the gear actuator hydrolic pump running when I open the drivers Many "dualogic" problems are actually also suffered by non-Dualogic cars, but the problem had less effect because, for example, a manual gearbox won't stop working because your brake lights are faulty. A Dualogic car relies on knowing when you are braking, and will try to choose the safest option when it can't tell, i.e. go into Neutral. Jan 10, 2014. #3. It'll probably be partial seizure of the selector pivot on top of the gearbox (a common problem that affects every model fitted with the C510- Fiat or Alfa). Fairly simple fix if you're confident- pop the cables out, undo the three 13mm bolts (5) holding the bracket on and slide it out of the rubber boot, undo the 17mm nut (2 Hi yeah i have had the same problem i have a Grande Punto 09 Plate 1.4 and i have had a gearbox leak coming from the gearbox, also i had a leak from the gearstick slector seal going into the gearbox not really thrilled with these problems, now my next problem is my clutch has now gone and it has disintigrated everything in the gearbox but not uncommon i have just found out i said i would like Points. 55. Location. Uk. Jun 10, 2023. #1. Hi everyone. I have just started my Punto dualogic after change of actuator and although it drives it doesn’t change from 1st gear when in auto. So it’s a very slow drive because it will only recognise reverse and 1st gear. Yes very simple to do. Drive along at 5th gear in auto mode at 30 mph pressing the throttle very lightly to maintain speed. Then suddenly smash the throttle pedal to the medal (or plastic in fiat 500's case) and it will go into 2nd gear without you touching anything. i got a 2000 fiat punto 1.2 16v sporting speedgear i have some problems with the gearbox everything works fine till the warning light for the gearbox comes on and seems like the gearbox doesnt have a clue what to do the revs are up down struggles going up hills and sometimes stays in low i gear i would put screen capture on but wont let me it xBOgMCi.
