You can dps pve as well, it will be good enuf once you learn the rotation. (ofcourse lower than sword/focus builds) Staff tempest open world/pvp, hard to kill build, easy to master, you utilize elementals and yolo from range, can solo champion mobs with it, as staff has alot of CC abilities, and massive range. 5.
Berserker is the best spec with the widest application and viability. On 2nd of August, warrior will most likely get some buffs. As for now, warrior has 2 viable builds in endgame, condi berserker which is a condi build with tons of aoe damage and power bladesworn, which is the best power dps build atm.
Ranger if you want the "simplest" class without too many gimmicks on a surface level. However endgame DPS rotations can be a bit high-APM. Guardian if you want the best "overall" class, which has both DPS and Support roles, and lots of defenses.
Choice of race makes absolutely not mechanical difference. Yes , they do get unique race based Racial Elite skills but the racial skills are typically so poor in comparison to the Class Elite skills that you should never bother with ‘em. Just pick whichever you think looks best.

Best all round class to pick So i’ve been playing willbender for most of the time, but feels like its very solo based and not feeling the FB too much. What would you guys recommend to play solo AND alot of group content (eventually i wanna do strikes/dungeons/raids) Already did virtuoso and its glass canon feeling for me why i switched to guardian
Daredevil is by far the easiest thief specialization. Infinite dodges and amazing cleave ftw. I'd say Mirage is easiest for Mesmer because infinite dodge builds in PvE is just memes all the way down but I haven't dug enough into PvE Virtuoso to counter your argument.
Don't go for the easiest class, go for the class that attracts you the most. Enlightening ! Thanks. Necromancer, thief, and ranger are probably the easiest to learn, but for the most part just go with whatever seems appealing, leveling in this game isn't hard compared to many other mmos.
Best class for solo play [Discussion] Hello, /r/GuildWars2 is the primary community for Guild Wars 2 on Reddit.
I love inconsistency. It'd be really boring if I woke up everyday knowing that I'll be OK. But in all seriousness, necromancer was my first class in GW1 and my main in GW2, undead was my favourite race in Warcraft 3, and Dread Necromancer is a wonderful class in D&D 3.5. Necromancy is in my blood.
